The present paper reviews geriatric care in Haryana state. Indian law and society recognize the special needs of senior citizens. The most important aid to senior citizens is the Social security program. People in the India who are more than sixty years of age are commonly referred to as senior citizens or seniors. These terms refer to people whose stage in life is generally called old age, though there is no precise way to identify the final stage of a normal life span. People are said to be senior citizens when they reach the age of sixty or sixty-five because those are the ages at which most people retire from the workforce. Keywords

School rivalry is increasing day by day in India and is of growing concern for parents, teachers and social thinkers. It is estimated that up to three-quarters of young adolescents experience some types of bullying (such as rumors, public ridicule, etc.) and up to one third report more extreme experiences of coercion or inappropriate touching (Juvonen, NIshina,&Graham, 2000). It can be both direct (e.g. slapping, hitting, etc.) and indirect (spreading rumors, insult, social exclusion). Common bullying activities that adolescents involved are name calling, teasing, taunting, ridiculing, obscene gestures, prejudice, threatening, hitting, kicking, rejection, etc. Being a victim or perpetrator of bullying has adverse psychological correlates. Bullying victimization is associated with many psychological problems, for example, depression, social anxiety, low self-esteem, insecurity, loneliness, low academic achievement, eating disorders, interpersonal problems, anger, hostility aggression, substance abuse, in severe cases suicidal ideation, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adolescent pregnancy, HIV risk, and criminality at adulthood. Stress is a normal psychological and physical reaction to the ever increasing demands of life. In looking at the causes of stress, remember that your brain comes hard-wired with an alarm system for your protection. When your brain perceives a threat, it signals your body to release a burst of hormones to fuel your capacity for a response. This has been labeled the "fight-or-flight" response. Once the threat is gone, your body is meant to return to a normal relaxed state. Unfortunately, the nonstop stress of modern life means that your alarm system rarely shuts off. That's why stress management is so important. Stress management gives you a range of tools to reset your alarm system. Without stress management, all too often your body is always on high alert. Over time, high levels of stress lead to serious health problems. Don't wait until stress has a negative impact on your health, relationships or quality of life. The present article reviews job stress, causes of stress, organizational stressors, occupational stress and its causes, and the coping strategies at individual and organizational level on how to control stress. Keywords

Academic stressors include the student's perception of the extensive knowledge base required and the perception of an inadequate time to develop it (Carveth et al, 1996). Students report experiencing academic stress at predictable times each semester with the greatest sources of academic stress resulting from taking and studying for exams, grade competition, and the large amount of content to master in a small amount of time (Abouserie, 1994). When stress is perceived negatively or becomes excessive, students experience physical and psychological impairment. Satisfaction is key Challenge, growth and learning is three factors that keep employees productive and satisfied. HR with an appropriate strategy managed to assemble a crackerjack, technology-savvy team. O.K. now the hard work begins: keeping them. Survey after survey of hi-tech employees reveals that the primary motivating factor is not how much money they make (as long as it compares well to industry standards), but how challenging their job is and how much room there is to grow and learn. Psychological well-being is about lives going well. It is the combination of feeling good and functioning effectively. Sustainable well-being does not require individuals to feel good all the time; the experience of painful emotions (e.g. disappointment, failure, grief) is a normal part of life, and being able to manage these negative or painful emotions is essential for long-term well-being. Psychological well-being is, however, compromised when negative emotions are extreme or very long lasting and interfere with a person's ability to function in his or her daily life. The present paper reviews the different components of psychological wellbeing. Keywords

The most common terms for homosexual people are lesbian for females and gay for males, though gay is also used to refer generally to both homosexual males and females. As an orientation, homosexuality refers to "an enduring pattern of or disposition to experience sexual, affectionate, or romantic attractions" primarily or exclusively to people of the same sex. The number of people who identify as gay or lesbian and the proportion of people who have same-sex sexual experiences are difficult for researchers to estimate reliably for a variety of reasons, including many gay people not openly identifying as such due to homophobia. The present paper reviews psychological perspectives of homosexuality. Keywords

The current paper reviews issues and challenges faced by senior citizens in India. Keywords

Bullying is a serious problem with negative consequences for both the aggressor and the victim. Studies have shown that more boys than girls engage in, and are subjected to, physical and direct verbal bullying, while indirect and relational bullying is experienced to an equal extent by boys and girls (Craig, 1998) or to an even greater extent by girls (Crick & Nelson, 2002; Juliano et al., 2006). There are consistent discussions about the gender difference in aggressive behavior and bullying behavior among school students. The present paper reviews on gender differences in school bullying and victimization and their consequences. Keywords
